Introduction

Quit Today is a beat em up style game for the Nintendo Switch. It was developed by Yohcan and published by Justdan International. Once you read this review you can purchase Quit Today from the Nintendo Eshop for $11.99. On behalf of the Handheld Gaming Community i would like to thank the publisher for the review code.
Overview

Imagine a rumor, your co-workers get the idea that you are going to quit and now are set out to physically attack you. Sound familiar? I certainly hope not. However in the game Quit Today that is exactly what has happened. You now must fight your way through the company to reach Human Resources to clear up this rumor.
Gameplay

Quit Today is a beat em up style game where you must clear room after room of disgruntled co-workers and management. Along the way you will find power-ups and can also buy power-ups to help you. You will also gain partners to use in battle. If you lose all of your hearts you will be sent back to the beginning of the building. Luckily your progress is not lost. Ultimately you have to make your way through six floors of disgruntled co-workers and management.
Graphics and Performance

I am playing Quit today on a Nintendo Switch 2 and it seems to work flawlessly. Nothing jumps out at me as a problem with how the game performs.
The graphics are done in a cell shaded style, and are very playful. You have many moves you can perform and they look very polished.
Sound
The sound in Quit Today is pretty simple, but works well for this beat em up. Most of the time when you are in battle you are listening to some rock music sounds that remind me of Streets of Rage.
Story

You play as an employee who works at a soul crushing job. Despite the soul crushing nature of this job he had no intention of quitting. However it seems that someone in the upper ranks of the company has started the rumor that you are wanting to quit. Your co-workers are angry about this and now are coming after you. Your mission is to figure out who started the rumor and get things cleared up with HR.
I really enjoyed the simple but entertaining story of Quit Today. The sense of absurd humor that the game brings is great at keeping you engaged and coming back for more.
Replay value

I think that for the modest price of $11.99 you will get plenty of playtime for your money. As you get better at blocking and mastering the controls in general you will find that areas that presented some difficulty are much more manageable.
Conclusion

You can buy Quit Today from the Nintendo Eshop for $11.99. I think this game is good fun for anyone who like beat em ups, has a stressful day at work or anything in between. The game has a great sense of humor and will keep you entertained throughout your time with the game.
